Designed to optimize performance and extend the life of 12V starter (SLI) batteries in your car, pickup truck, ATV, speed boat or motorcycle. Also works great for your RV.
Precise charging with two 12 Volt charge modes (14.4V & 14.7V), dialing in the right charge level for standard ‘wet cell’ and sealed premium AGM or spiral cell AGM batteries. Your charge mode selection remains in memory even if the AC power is lost or the battery is disconnected.
Charging is fully automatic and worry free. The built-in temperature compensation automatically adjusts charge rate according to ambient temperature, voltage is reduced when hotter and increased when colder. Ampmatic charge control automatically adjusts charge current (Amps) according to battery size and condition, guaranteeing an optimal charge every time.
The POWERSUPPLY mode provides constant power (at 13.6 Volts), keeping the battery charged whilst you tune or troubleshoot electrical problems in your vehicle.
The automatic 9-step program saves a deep discharged battery from as low as 0.5 Volts with OptiMate’s smart desulphation modes recovering the battery so that it can once again accept charge, all automatically. Once charged OptiMate’s 24-7 long term maintenance mode keeps the battery at its optimal level, ready to start your vehicle / craft.
